How Facial Balancing Works at Radiance
1. Whole-face assessment. Your provider evaluates your features from the front, both sides, and the three-quarter view, looking at proportion, symmetry, and how each area affects the ones around it. You tell us what you see. We tell you what we see.
2. A written plan. You leave the consultation with a plan that names each area, the material we recommend for it, why, and what it costs. Sometimes the plan is one syringe. Sometimes it is skin tightening with no filler at all.
3. Treatment, in one visit or staged. Many plans are completed in a single appointment. Larger plans are staged over two or three visits so each change can settle before the next.

What Areas Does Facial Balancing Treat?
- Temples. Among the first areas to lose volume, and one of the most overlooked. Restoring the temples frames the upper face and softens a heavy brow. Options: Sculptra®, regenerative or fat injections, hyaluronic acid filler.
- Under eyes. Hollows and shadows that make you look tired when you are not. One of Radiance's most-requested off-label areas. Options: EZ Gel, Selphyller Gel™, Lipoderma®, hyaluronic acid filler.
- Cheeks and midface. The structural foundation of the face. Restoring the cheeks lifts the whole midface and reduces under-eye shadow. Options: hyaluronic acid filler, Sculptra®, Renuva®, Lipoderma®.
- Lips. In a balancing plan, lip treatment is about proportion with the chin and nose, not size. Options: hyaluronic acid filler, BOTOX® lip flip.
- Chin. A slightly stronger chin changes the whole profile and makes the nose appear smaller. Options: hyaluronic acid filler, Sculptra®.
- Jawline. Definition along the jaw frames the lower face. Options: hyaluronic acid filler for contour, Masseter BOTOX® for slimming, Sofwave® or Ultherapy® when the issue is laxity.

What to Expect From Facial Balancing
Consultation. A complimentary visit where your provider assesses your face, listens to what you see, and explains what is driving it.
Plan and quote. You receive a written plan: areas, materials, number of syringes or vials, and an itemized cost. Nothing is done until you have approved it.
Comfort prep. The areas are cleansed and marked. Topical numbing is applied, and most fillers contain lidocaine. Most patients describe treatment as very manageable.
Treatment. Product is placed in small, deliberate amounts with attention to symmetry. A typical session takes 45 to 90 minutes depending on the number of areas.
Back to life. Expect some swelling or bruising for a few days. Hyaluronic acid results show immediately and settle over two weeks. Sculptra®, regenerative, and fat injection results build over the following months.
