① Dermal filler treatments typically consist of a few injections using a small needle. To minimize the chance of getting a bruise from the treatment, it is recommended that you stay off medications and supplements that may thin the blood. Common examples of these are listed below. Consult your physician before discontinuing any medications or supplements that have been prescribed or recommended for you for medical reasons.

② Mild to moderate swelling and bruising are common following a filler treatment. If swelling occurs, it may appear lumpy or uneven and will typically lasts 2-5 days. Ice may be used to help reduce visible swelling. Should bruising occur, it may last for as long as 7-10 days. Make sure to consider the possibility of bruising and swelling when selecting a date for your treatment.
③ Other treatments, such as laser, Ultherapy, Eraser treatment, IPL, microdermabrasion, and peels, should not be done on the same day as Injectable Fillers. These treatments can stimulate blood flow to the skin which may increase the likelihood of bruising and swelling in the area.
④ No massages, hats, heat or pressure to be applied to the treated area for 6 hours after the procedure.
